Since the 2020/21 season, Adi Hanan has been a member of the Vienna State Ballet, where this versatile artist has showcased her talents across a broad repertoire and continues to inspire choreographers with her expressive artistry.

​

In 2022, she made her choreographic debut at the Vienna State Ballet's Choreography Platform at the Volksoper Vienna, premiering Shadows, a work that marked her first foray into choreography. In 2024, she followed with Eden, which was presented as part of the Vienna State Ballet’s production of Les Sylphides.

​

Born in Israel, Adi received her early education at the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts and later at The Maslool Professional Dance Program in Tel Aviv. She went on to complete a Bachelor's degree at Tel Aviv University through the Marc Rich Honors Program in the Humanities and the Arts.

​

Between 2007 and 2010, she was a member of the Israeli Ballet, continuing afterward to collaborate with the Israeli Opera. From 2012 to 2016, she danced with the Jerusalem Ballet. As a freelance artist, she participated in the Salzburg Festival (Faust, 2016) and performed in the opening ceremony of Paphos 2017, when the city was named European Capital of Culture.

From 2017 to 2020, Adi was a member of the BallettCompagnie Oldenburg under the direction of Antoine Jully, further expanding her repertoire and developing her stage experience.
