My artistic voice began to form out of a desire to blend the poetic and the primal. To find a language of movement that could speak of the contradictions I hold inside myself—woman and wildness, softness and rage, intimacy and distance, instinct and intellect. The roots of my work are in the personal, but they always reach toward the collective.
